Situated at 2 km from Spoleto, Umbria, on a top hill with superb panoramic views on Umbrian valley. The Villa was built in 1880 and was the country house of a well-known Roman architect of the early 1900s, who enlarge and furnished it to match its Classical and Renaissance features.
The property was faithfully restored and was awarded the category of Historic Mansion by the Regional authorities of Umbria. The Villa still retains its original characteristics and priceless furnishings which, together with the magnificent panoramic views combine to create a refined yet informal and congenial atmosphere.
The Villa is surrounded by parkland of some 20 acres of fields and woodland in which guest can stroll and relax. The lovely gardens with relics from Roman and Renaissance times, have a panoramic terrace with mythological statues overlooking the roofs and bell towers of the medieval town. The swimming pool is set apart from the Villa in its own garden and has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.
